Nike hired Incubate to create an email styleguide and template system that would unify the many different commercial entities and agencies both within and outside of Nike that were creating Nike branded emails. Job one was to create a unified graphic look and communication strategy. This came to life as a 20-page styleguide booklet that included a communication strategy, written tone, design layouts, and a series of working email templates. After the adoption of the system Incubate was also responsible for creating many of the custom tailored initiative emails for Nike Retail and Nike Factory Stores. This successful work involved coordinating with a variety of groups within Nike, including Basketball, Golf, Nike SB and Factory Stores, to write, design and code emails that directly drove traffic and sales to Nike.com, Niketown and Nike Factory stores.
