Planar asked Incubate to design and develop a new Video Wall Calculator Website. This detailed web application acts as an online sales tool, allowing curious customers, marketing directors, architects, designers, and integrators the ability to specify, design and view Planar specific LCD & LED video walls that are custom configured to their space requirements. The website features a new environmental visualization tool that allows users to upload images of their installation space and superimpose the configured video wall within that space. For users that are not familiar with the product, we have added multiple instructional walk-thru sections that help people navigate the special features of the Planar Video Wall Designer. The Video Wall Designer website also provides detailed hardware specifications data, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings that aid in the complex site planning and installation processes required for these displays. The Planar Video Wall Calculator website was developed and built as a single-page web application utilizing HTML5, CSS, and Javascript. Technical capabilities include saving user’s custom display configurations and providing detailed display specification data, technical design drawings, and power/video cable routing guides. Additionally the website can export a variety of images, excel data and PDF’s of the customer’s custom configured Planar LED & LCD Video Wall designs. Incubate continually integrates additional Planar Product lines into this online sale tool, and provides monthly maintenance updates to this ever-changing web application.
